Precious Chitapi
FOUNDING TRUSTEE, PHILANTHROPIST, ENTREPRENEUR
Precious is a skilled Organization Development Facilitator and has expertise in a range of social scientific research methodologies. She has extensive experience as a consultant in health and other sectors. She is also a visiting fellow for the University of West England.
Precious has vast experience in community and corporate communications at local, regional, and international levels. She has held managerial positions in Public Relations Departments for blue chip companies in manufacturing, media/broadcasting, tourism, retailing and miningHer communications skills are leveraged by her studies in educational psychology, being multilingual – fluent in English, Shona. She is a trained languages teacher, marketer, and public relations expert.
Precious is a LEAD implementer ad well as the person administering the project .
She has been a subcontractor on several research projects in Southern Africa, some notably funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation since 2016. Her most recent contracts have been for the Improvement Collaborative for Malaria Elimination in Namibia (2018-20) and HIV prevention research in Zimbabwe (2020-23).
Precious is co-author (with Professor Case, University of West England) of an article published in 2020 in the Malaria Journal which documented research conducted in Zimbabwe and a manuscript on malaria programme management policy currently in review with The Lancet Global Health.
Precious believes in diversity and inclusion. She launched Woman Magazine, Zimbabwe’s first women’s magazine featuring women achievers as role models for future generations. The publication enhanced strategic alliances with Government, Business and Non-Governmental Organisations as a platform for training, counselling, coaching, and educating communities on health and education, with special focus on the girl child.
My Inspiration: my parents Sellina and Simon Chitapi
Both my parents were trained medical practitioners who served as civil servants all their lives. Their work took us to all parts of the country where we were literally exposed to life in hospital communities, both rural and urban. My parents were an epitome of ubuntu.
Sellina & Simon:
- Practiced Ubuntu long before we knew the word – they constructed their own clinic in their homestead where they offered free medical services to the community
- Practiced philanthropy long before we knew the word – they kept, educated, skilled ,counselled and mentored the young in the community
- Practiced community empowerment, collaboration and entrepreneurship long before we knew the word – worked with women and the girl child, teaching them life skills like sewing, knitting, cooking, gardening so that they could be independent and self-sufficient

Tawanda Mhindurwa
TRUSTEE
A highly motivated professional with seven years of experience in communications, marketing, and project management in an eclectic range of fields and industries; from government health systems to commercial and corporate brand spaces to the fine arts and cultural entertainment.
Tawanda has extensive experience in project management, developing and delivering effective marketing, communication and engagement campaigns across public and not-for-profit sectors, in addition to experience in successfully delivering projects to completion. I have experience leading a variety of teams ,stakeholder engagement and effectively communicate with people at all levels.
Currently Project Manager with Unilever UK, Tawanda’s main responsibilities include overseeing projects across the Personal Care brands, which include some of the world’s most popular brands like Dove, Lynx, and Sure. As the project manager of the Personal Care DMC, I have worked with a team of experts in creative, marketing, CMI, Media, and e-Commerce to create data-driven assets in real-time for various marketing platforms.
He also worked for Coca Cola, Network Effectiveness, UK, from August 2021 – June 2022 . Key responsibilities and achievements included influencing, aligning and negotiating with key stakeholders, to adopt, support and implement the elements outlined in the scope of the network effectiveness tool I was developing, managed regular retrospectives after the implementation of projects, recommended adjustments and improvements to ensure network effectiveness at regional EU levels and acted as a change agent to optimise the way of working in the European Marketing team (shopping experience tool).
During 2020, Tawanda worked as Hwami Studio Manage(UK), where he commissioned and creative directed the development of Hwami Studio branding assets. As commercial and creative strategist, he worked closely with the artist and in liaison with galleries, assisting the artist in overseeing the planning and execution of commercial and creative opportunities, exhibitions and projects for optimal impact. He also oversaw all aspects of major project works, interfacing with high level stakeholders to assist in negotiation and terms for exhibits and events. Maintained artwork records and archives, continually reviewed and updated practices to maintain a cost effective studio framework.
Tawanda attended University of Kingston, where he obtained an MSc International Business Management with Project Management; University of Westminster ; MA Multimedia and Broadcasting ; Anglia Ruskin University BA Hons Media Studies .

Tatenda Ruwuyu
TRUSTEE
Tatenda is a marketing and communications expert with over ten years of working with various companies in many sectors including non-governmental, manufacturing , banking, mining, and health. She is a trustee of Precious Innovations Ubuntu Global Charitable Trust.
Tatenda has worked with UCSF organizing and managing various programs for the Malaria Elimination program that was funded by JC Flower Foundation as well as the OPTIMISE program that was funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She also organized and managed the launch of Woman Magazine (the first women’s magazine in Zimbabwe). Tatenda is a powerful force in the workplace and maintains a positive energy as she works hard to achieve set targets and achieve her goals.
She enjoys travelling, reading, and networking.
Tatenda holds an MSC International Relations from the Bindura University of Science Technology and a BCom Marketing and Economics from Great Zimbabwe University.

Happy Sophia Tsara
Advocate Happy Sophia Tsara was born on the 27th of December 1977 in Nyanga District. She is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws Honours degree from the University of Zimbabwe.
She is the founder and Senior partner of Tsara and Associates Legal Practitioners. She has 21 years experience in both criminal and civil litigation. Advocate Tsara has been a loyal and astute member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association since 2002.
Dr Joseph Murungu
A medical doctor with postgraduate training and experience in public health, Dr Joseph Murungu is the Senior Technical Consultant for Ubuntu. He serves in the board as an ex officio member and the
technical advisory board. He brings in vast experience in the design, implementation, management, coordination and monitoring of public health programmes towards responsive health systems. Prior to joining Pangaea, Joseph worked at different levels of the health delivery system in Zimbabwe including as the National HIV Care and Treatment Programme Coordinator, District Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent and House Medical Officer. He also brings experience from the implementation of wide-scale improvement projects in several countries in the African region, implementation science and research. Joseph has a passion for strengthening health systems towards the provision of quality, patient-centred care.
Chido Mollen Mpofu
Chido Mollen Mpofu holds a BComm Honours degree in Accounting. She has experience working as an accounts clerk for CFX Tours n Travel, Chicken Slice, a sales representative for Creative Credit and as
a foreign exchange officer for Hammer n Tongues Conticash department. Currently a book keeper for Mutirikwi Lakeshore lodges, Chido seek to achieve professional proficiency noted in academic excellence and rise steadily up in her career through hard work and continuous development.
She is a good netball and hand ball player who enjoys travelling.
Shingi Kadenhe
Shingi is a 47-year-old man who holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in computer science and information technology, which he obtained at Rhodes University in 1999.
With over two decades of experience in the industry, he has established himself as a respected researcher and is now the research director at Research Bureau International. In 2010, Shingi also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification, which further enhanced his skills and expertise in managing projects and teams.
Throughout his career, Shingi has successfully led numerous research projects, driving innovation and delivering high-quality results. He is passionate about using technology to solve complex problems, and his extensive knowledge and experience have made him a valuable asset to any organization he works with.
